Who is Antoinette Forbes? What to know about PR exec missing from DC home as family fears worst

Authorities are actively searching for Antoinette Forbes, a public relations executive who vanished from her home, leaving behind her phone, wallet, and car. The situation has raised alarms among her family and friends, who express deep concern for the safety of the devoted single mother. According to the New York Post, loved ones believe that Forbes would never voluntarily leave her son, heightening fears regarding her disappearance.

Northrop said she does not believe Forbes left her home voluntarily. “We need to know what happened,” Aileen said. “Someone had to have seen something, anything, some small thing, seen her. We need the evidence that’s going to enable the police to do their jobs and bring Antoinette home.”

Forbes was last seen Friday afternoon, September 4, at her home in Washington, DC, a day before she FaceTimed her sisters about plans to get together in Florida to visit their mother for the holidays. They became concerned when she failed to respond to a planned catch-up online Sunday, September 6.

DC’s Metropolitan Police Department has classified the hunt as a critically missing person, according to Fox News. Her home is being treated as an active crime scene, according to Aileen. The front door of her home was found unlocked with all of important personal items and her dog, Max, inside.
