White House aide Natalie Harp’s old posts from January 6, 2021, have resurfaced, showing extraordinary devotion to President Donald Trump during the Capitol riot.
Events Surrounding the January 6 Capitol Riot
On January 6, 2021, a mob supporting then-President Donald Trump breached the US Capitol during Congress’s certification of Joe Biden’s electoral victory in the 2020 election. This unprecedented attack forced lawmakers to halt the counting of electoral votes for several hours. In social media posts from that day, one individual reportedly urged followers to “FIGHT FOR TRUMP” multiple times and declared Washington, DC, to be “Trump Country.”
The 35-year-old Californian first gained attention in 2019, when she praised Trump on stage for signing the 2018 Right to Try Act.
Harp, who battled bone cancer, credited Trump’s health policies for her survival, saying, “Thanks to President Trump, I’m living with cancer,” as per CNN . She gathers posts from Trump’s supporters for him to review, then posts the approved drafts on his account, according to The Wall Street Journal. She also carries around a laptop and printer to show Trump articles, earning her the nickname “human printer”.
Harp is now reportedly the primary White House staffer helping Trump post on Truth Social.
The next day, Harp wrote: “We love you, President @realDonaldTrump!”. Natalie Harp’s X account is no longer active, according to TMZ. It is unclear whether the platform suspended the account or Harp deactivated it herself.
