Iran on Monday set a deadline for the United States for full implementation of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the two countries, warning of an escalation in the Strait of Hormuz and the entire region if diplomacy fails.

Trump’s remarks come days after US Vice President JD Vance said last week that the administration had two goals in the war, including ensuring the continued flow of oil and gas from Gulf countries.
