Thomas Fahmy, a resident of Staten Island, was struck by lightning as he stepped out of his front door on his way to a dentist appointment. The shocking incident was captured by his doorbell camera, showing the moment the lightning hit his foot. Fortunately, Fahmy is currently recovering from the incident.
Survivor Recalls Lightning Strike Experience
Fahmy has vividly described the terrifying moment he was struck by lightning. He reported experiencing a range of sensations throughout his body, including tingling, numbness, and pain, accompanied by a distinct burning feeling. “Once the lightning bolt struck me, the initial sensations that I had throughout my whole body were like completely unprecedented,” Fahmy stated, according to ABC7.
