Pat Boone Offers Advice to Trump in Video Message

In a recent nearly three-minute video message, singer Pat Boone expressed his concerns about former President Donald Trump’s demeanor, stating that he appeared “worn out” and was behaving in ways that were “not presidential.” Boone, who has been a longtime supporter of Trump and voted for him, offered a straightforward piece of advice: “May I recommend something very highly? That you be quiet.”

Boone recalled having similar discussions with Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign, where he urged the then-candidate to refrain from using derogatory names for political opponents and to adopt a more measured tone. While Boone acknowledged that Trump did not entirely follow this guidance, he recognized the former president’s achievements since taking office.

Additionally, Boone emphasized the importance of civility, urging Trump to “be polite to women” and to “quit calling names.”

Known for his extensive music career, Boone scored over 30 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 during the 1950s and later gained fame for his gospel music, earning six Grammy nominations throughout his career.
