Jenny Lupton, a flight attendant with Southwest Airlines, passed away unexpectedly after a night of celebration. Hours before her death, she enjoyed dancing with a friend and expressed her excitement about a new tattoo in a text to her sister. The circumstances surrounding her passing have been described as unusual, according to her nephew, Samuel Lupton, in an interview with HindustanTimes.com.
A local medical examiner said her official cause and manner of death have yet to be determined. Samuel said that before her death, Jenny had been dancing with a friend at local bars. The Honolulu Police Department’s investigation is underway.
Jenny, 50, was found dead at a hotel in Waikiki on August 20. Her death occurred at 5:00 am in Honolulu. At this point she had gone without sleep for 24+ hours.
Hawaiian authorities told her family that she died from an apparent fall. Samuel said that despite the speculations that Jenny may have died by suicide, the family has no reason to believe so. He also said that the family does not know anyone who might have wanted to hurt her. “That said, she’s not from Honolulu. Without any evidence, any conclusion about Jenny’s death is speculation,” he said. Many questions remain surrounding her death,” he said.
