Charges Filed Against Ally of Tommy Robinson Following Channel Incident

Daniel Thomas, a close associate of far-right activist Tommy Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, has been charged with criminal damage related to an incident in the English Channel. According to Hampshire police, the charges stem from allegations that a boat was damaged while an emergency responder was on board.

Thomas was reportedly arrested late Wednesday and is currently remanded in custody. He is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.

In response to his arrest, Yaxley-Lennon reached out to his supporters on Thursday, requesting donations to assist his former right-hand man. In the evening, hundreds of supporters gathered outside a police facility in Basingstoke, where they believed Thomas was being held, to call for his release.
