This defense comes during a time when Khan’s legacy as a pivotal figure in Pakistan’s cricket history is being scrutinized. Khan led Pakistan to its only ODI World Cup victory in 1992, marking a significant achievement in the nation’s cricketing journey. Both Miandad and Khan were instrumental in establishing Pakistan as a formidable force in international cricket during their careers.
