In a commanding performance, India women triumphed over Pakistan by seven wickets in their third Group A match of the Women’s Asia Cup 2026. Pakistan’s 55 also became the fifth-lowest all-out total against India Women in T20Is. Malaysia hold the unwanted record with 27, followed by Thailand with 37, Bangladesh with 51 and Bangladesh again with 54. With three wins from three matches, India have booked their place in the semi-finals of the Women’s Asia Cup 2026. The Harmanpreet Kaur-led team will return to action in the last-four stage on September 10, where they will face either Bangladesh or Sri Lanka.

Pakistan’s total marked their lowest-ever all-out score in Women’s T20I cricket. N Sree Charani and Prema Rawat picked three wickets each, while Deepti Sharma claimed two wickets. Shafali Verma provided the first breakthrough, ending the opening partnership and opening the door for India to take control. For Pakistan, the heavy defeat will be a major setback as they look to regroup for their remaining league-stage fixture.
