The wholesome interaction also won the hearts of fans on the internet. India’s star spinners Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja engaged in some light-hearted banter on social media. Seeing Kuldeep smile in one of the pictures, Jadeja left a cheeky comment beneath the post. Jadeja jokingly urged Kuldeep to not take things too lightly and take some pressure. To this, the latter replied that pressure should be given, not taken.
On Wednesday, Kuldeep shared snapshots of India’s training session just before the start of their T20I series against New Zealand.
The first Test begins on November 19. Jadeja, at 37, is still an integral part of the Test setup, but appears to have fallen out of India’s 2027 World Cup plans. Kuldeep is also part of the ODI and Test teams that will face the Kiwis in the coming weeks Although he isn’t guaranteed a spot in the playing XI in any of the three formats. On the other hand, veteran all-rounder Jadeja is likely to link up with the team later, as he is only part of the squad for the two-match Test series.
Left-arm wrist-spinner Kuldeep is currently with the Indian team in New Zealand, with their five-match T20I series getting underway on Thursday.
