In a unique development that has emerged in the world of cricket, Australian umpire Ben Treloar is set to officiate in two Ranji Trophy matches in the ongoing 2026-27 season. The arrangement is a part of an exchange program between the Cricket Australia and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), which will also see the India’s Parashar Joshi travelling Down Under to officiate two Sheffield Shield matches and one One-Day Cup game.
