Watch: Fan Walks Over 1,000km To Meet Hardik Pandya, India Star's Gesture secures Hearts

A fan walked from Mumbai to Bengaluru, covering a distance of over 1,00 kilometres on foot, to meet India all-rounder Hardik Pandya at the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) Centre of Excellence (CoE). The man, Ravi, who hails from Lucknow, was greeted by Hardik, who is currently undergoing injury rehabilitation at the CoE, with open arms. In what was a special gesture, Hardik promised to arrange his return train tickets, with the video of the heartwarming moment now going viral on social media.

The 33-year-old also promised the fan, who was holding a placard, that he would soon get in touch with him. He has been sidelined since suffering the injury during IPL 2026 in May.

He has not been pain-free while bowling, which has delayed his return to competitive cricket, according to reports. In the video, Hardik also asked the fan if he could do anything else for him. “Do you need anything? Can I do anything for you? Hardik can be heard saying in the video. The all-rounder was also ruled out of the upcoming tour of New Zealand, where India are scheduled to play five T20Is, five ODIs and two Tests. Hardik suffered a fresh niggle which has proved to be an impediment towards his comeback. With New Zealand series also out of his way, Pandya will now have to wait for the Zimbabwe ODIs if he is fit to play or perhaps check his fitness in Vijay Hazare or Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
