Major political parties have already struck shady backroom deals to push through similar changes in the past, according to him. The dangerous debate over creating new provinces has become a political powder keg. Hussain claimed Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and the DG ISPR raised the issue while unfairly targeting the Muhajir community. He made an urgent plea to Army Chief Asim Munir to protect Muhajirs from growing threats. At the heart of Hussain’s explosive claims lies the controversial 28th Constitutional Amendment. He alleged that secret talks are underway to force through this law, which could redraw Pakistan’s map and ruthlessly carve up existing provinces. Hussain claimed President Zardari first travelled to Austria for his son Bilawal’s wedding and then moved to London. There, he alleged, Zardari held a secret one-hour meeting with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. During this closed-door meeting, Hussain claimed a critical message was delivered to the President. He linked this mysterious meeting to the deepening and dangerous rift between Zardari and the military leadership.
Martial law or interim government warning
Hussain issued a stark warning that a prolonged political deadlock could push Pakistan into a full-blown constitutional crisis. He raised the terrifying possibility of martial law or an interim government if the confrontation between political leaders and the military spins out of control.
