New Delhi: Following a series of public comments about her, BJP MP and actor Kangana Ranaut has hit back at yoga guru Ramdev and several other celebrities and said she will not take advice from people she considers less successful than herself.
The yoga guru had responded to her on Sunday (August 23), saying that the country knew who he was. She added, “My message to these people is that if you have not achieved even 1% of the success I have achieved, I will not listen to your advice.
Ranaut has now accused him of crossing all limits with comments she said were inappropriate for a woman. The kind of comments he has made about a woman have left the entire society ashamed,” she said. She said she would not take advice from people who, in her view, had achieved far less than she had. She also mentioned actor Sonu Sood, saying he had told her that she needed to learn how to behave. “Every day, people like these, whether it is Ashutosh Rana, who says I bark like a dog, Sonu Sood, who says I should learn the right way, Rakhi Sawant, who makes vulgar comments about my character or Taapsee Pannu, who insults my parents, have something to say about me,” Ranaut said. She described them as failures and said she would only consider advice from people who had achieved more than she had.
Her statements came after an ongoing war of words with Ramdev that began over her views on the Gen Z movement. “As far as Baba Ramdev is concerned, he has crossed every limit. She also named several other celebrities while talking about the criticism she has faced. Ranaut referred to actor Ashutosh Rana, alleging that he had compared her speech to a dog barking. First show that you can become Kangana Ranaut. She also accused some of her critics of making personal remarks about her to get media attention.
